Welcome to Oxford, Kansas

Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River. Tornado siren testing will take place today at noon. This is only a test — there is no emergency.

Regular testing helps ensure our warning system is working properly and ready to keep our community safe when severe weather occurs.

If you hear the sirens at noon, there is no need to take action. Thanks for helping us stay prepared!
