Cave Park is located on the far east side of Oxford, just west the Arkansas River. The park is home to our restored Avery Steam Engine tractor. Once atop the hill on the south end of the park, it was moved by the Metz family in 2012 to L.G .Pike Construction Co in Arkansas City, KS where former Oxford resident Kalin Taylor and co-worker Stan Vaughn worked to restore it.
According to a study performed by the Kansas Department of Transportation, there are over 3,000 vehicles that pass by Cave Park daily. The park and its pavilions provide a resting point for travelers on Highway 160.
Cave Park has a public access point that allows the public to put kayaks and boats into the river. This also is a favorite fishing spot for locals. Cave Park does allows primitive camping at no cost for one night only.
Views of the Arkansas River can be seen from our boat dock at Cave Park. You can enter and exit the river by boat or kayak from this dock.
Playground equipment and benches with plenty of shade from surrounding trees makes this a great spot to bring kids.
Cave Park has five different pavilions that can be reserved by contacting the City Office. The fee to reserve a pavilion is $5.00 per day with payment due at the time of reservation

Welcome to Napawalla Park, named after the Osage Indian Chief Napawalla. Napawalla Park is located in the southwest section of the city at the intersection of Napawalla Road and West Clark Street. Keep Scrolling to see all the park has to offer!
Both Primitive and RV camping are available at Napawalla Park. Primitive camping is $3.50 per day and Electric hook up is $15.00 per day. The "self-pay" station for payment of camping fees is located at the north end of the park. Water is available throughout the park and a sewer dump is provided for visiting campers.
Showers are available to campers at the south end of the Park. Both bathrooms/showers are open from April until mid-October. Please contact the City Office if you have questions about their current status.
There are two shelters in the park that can be reserved by contacting the City Office. This is a first-come, first-serve policy and reservations are $5.00 per day, with payment due at the time of reservation.
The park has a horse shoe pit, it's even lit at night so you can play horseshoes even after dark.
Sand Volleyball is also available to play at the park for anyone who has a team and a volleyball! There is also a basketball court with benches.
The Disc Golf Course is a favorite amoung many of our citizens and vistors, grab a frisbee and check it out.
