🎉 Exciting News for Napawalla Park! 🎉

On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Oxford City Council gave the green light to funding for brand-new playground equipment at Napawalla Park! 🛝✨ After several months of exploring different options, the Park Board has selected the perfect addition for our community! 🌳

The City of Oxford has already begun removing the old equipment to make way for the shiny new set! 🚜💨 Some of the old equipment will be refurbished and repainted to find a new home at Cave Park in the upcoming months (weather permitting, of course! 🌤️).

The exciting new playground, called Mount Hood ⛰️ from Actively Play, fits the theme of Napawalla Park perfectly! Its design blends seamlessly with the park's beautiful trees and vibrant wildlife. 🐿️🦋🐦 We can’t wait for everyone to explore the new space and make amazing memories! 🎠🎉

In addition, the new equipment will feature some fun and innovative elements designed to inspire creativity, teamwork, and physical activity for children of all ages! 🤸‍♀️🧗‍♂️ Whether you're swinging high, climbing to new heights, or sliding into fun, the new playground will have something for everyone. 🌟

We are also thrilled to share that we’ve received funding from the Oxford Destination Playground fund, raised over the years by many of Oxford’s residents who dreamed of making this playground a reality. 🙌💖 A huge thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to make this new community playground possible!
