Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River.     ๐ŸŒณ The City Crew Gets to Work! ๐ŸŒณ

    Today, our trusty City Crew rolled up their sleeves and got busy, tackling fallen trees and trimming those that needed a little extra TLC after the recent gusty winds. ๐Ÿ’จ But don’t worry – it’s not all about saying goodbye to trees! ๐ŸŒฑ

    In fact, we’ve got something exciting lined up! On Arbor Day, April 25th, we’ll be teaming up with the amazing 6th graders to plant some new green friends and keep our city looking beautiful and full of life. ๐ŸŒฟ
