Welcome to Oxford, Kansas

Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River. This years Christmas In The Country celebration will include the very popular Holiday Porch Decorating Contest for the 3rd year in a row.  Top 3 porches receive Chamber Bucks

1st Place $100.00         2nd Place $50.00              3rd Place $25.00

  • Entries must be within Oxford or 1 mile outside of city limits
  • Applications are at Primarily Plants or call 620-455-3636
  • Application are due by November 15th
  • Have your porch ready by the morning of November 28th
