Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River. Porch Decorating Contest

This years Christmas In The Country celebration will include the very popular Holiday Porch Decorating Contest for the 3rd year in a row.  Top 3 porches receive Chamber Bucks

1st Place $100.00         2nd Place $50.00              3rd Place $25.00

  • Entries must be within Oxford or 1 mile outside of city limits
  • Applications are at Primarily Plants or call 620-455-3636
  • Application are due by November 15th
  • Have your porch ready by the morning of November 28th
