Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River.     City accepting applications for City Treasurer / Police Clerk

    The City of Oxford is accepting applications for the position of City Treasurer/Police Clerk. Experience and qualifications include: accounting skills, office experience, general knowledge of computer data entry, good personal communication skills, must be good with the public, and proficiency in Word and Excel. This position is part-time; up to 16 hours per week. Wage is commensurte upon experience. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. The City of Oxford is an EOE.
