Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River. The Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) provides financial assistance to eligible residents who need help paying their utility bills.

Application Period: January 20 – March 31
If you qualify, this program can help offset heating and energy costs during the colder months.
