Welcome to Oxford, Kansas

Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River. Stats for the month of July

July was a busy one and our stats speak for themselves! After a very long investigation and a lot of hard work, our amazing officers were able to take several pounds of marijuana, as well as a good amount of cocaine and methamphetamines, off the streets this month!

-Stats:

  • 32 total cases for July. Those 32 cases resulted in the following:
    • Arrests: 2
    • Criminal:
      • 22 Felonies
      • 12 Misdemeanor
    • Medical: 7
    • Fire: 1
    • Municipal: 5
    • Alcohol/Drug: 3
    • Weapons: 1
    • Juvenile: 5
    • Mental Health: 8
