Welcome to Oxford, Kansas

Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River. Little Town Square is in the heart of the City and provides a place to sit and enjoy the activities downtown.  View More About Our Community

4th of July Celebration

This Year's 4th of July Celebration Will Be One for the History Books! 

America is turning 250 years old, and Oxford is throwing a party to celebrate! 

Several local groups and organizations have come together to plan a weekend full of fun, community, and patriotic spirit. From family activities to special events, there will be something for everyone to enjoy as we celebrate this historic milestone.

One of the highlights of the weekend will be FREE live music at the stage in Napawalla Park!  Bring a lawn chair, gather your family and friends, and enjoy great music while celebrating America's 250th birthday in the heart of our community.
