Welcome to Oxford, Kansas

Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River. Brief Outages This Morning

***UPDATE***

The City Crew discovered that a bad insulator at the City's power plant was the cause of the two blown fuses earlier this morning. They have replaced the insulator along with both fuses so there should be no further outages. 

 

The two brief power outages this morning were caused by blown fuses. Our city crew is currently working to locate the source of the issue. Thank you for your patience. We'll provide an update when available.
