Welcome to Oxford, Kansas

Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River. 🌳 Burn Site Open for Storm Debris 🌳

Due to the recent storms, the City’s burn site will be open today through the rest of the week to allow residents to dispose of downed tree limbs and storm debris.

This service is available free of charge to Oxford residents. Please use this opportunity to clean up your properties and help keep our community safe and tidy.
