Welcome to Oxford, Kansas

Oxford is a historic small town located in Sumner County, Kansas on Highway 160 with a population of approximately 1,000 residents. Oxford has been named a TREE CITY USA since 1992. The town site sits on the west bank of the Arkansas River. Cave Park is located on the east side of town, and offers a playground area for children, a covered shelter, and a public access, paved boat ramp to the Arkansas River. In honor of Veterans Day, the City Office and Library will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th, as we take time to recognize and thank all who have served our country.

If you experience a utility emergency or any other emergency during this time, please call 911 for assistance.

We will reopen during regular business hours on Wednesday, November 12th.
