Power Outages Power Outages Friday, October 25, 2024 Oxford News Not all squirrels are aerial acrobats, but the ones in town sure think they are! Our utility crew is always on standby, ready to rescue us from our dark, squirrel-induced dilemmas. Just a heads up: it’s a busy season as squirrels stockpile snacks for winter, so if you see a furry little daredevil using the power lines as their personal highway, don’t be surprised! If the lights go out during office hours, call us at 620-455-2223. After hours, please call 911—just make sure to specify that it’s a nonemergency outage and not a squirrel-related heist! Stay powered up and keep an eye out for those furry aerialists! Read more
