While most prefer to zip along the electric lines like they’re on a high-voltage roller coaster, sometimes they miscalculate and cause a power outage. Our utility crew is always on standby, ready to rescue us from our dark, squirrel-induced dilemmas. Just a heads up: it’s a busy season as squirrels stockpile snacks for winter, so if you see a furry little daredevil using the power lines as their personal highway, don’t be surprised! If the lights go out during office hours, call us at 620-455-2223. After hours, please call 911—just make sure to specify that it’s a nonemergency outage and not a squirrel-related heist!
